Who runs this site
ikbalhussain.com is the personal and professional site of Ikbal Hussain, a freelance web developer and software engineer based in India. There is no company and no team — I am the only person who reads what you send. The services that carry your message are listed below.
How you contact me
This site has no contact form. It links to three channels, and each is operated by a third party that necessarily handles your message:
- Email — delivered to a Gmail account, so Google processes and stores it under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp — messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. Message contents are end-to-end encrypted; metadata such as your phone number and timestamps is not.
- Phone — a normal call over your mobile network, with the usual carrier records.
Whichever you use, I receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, contact details, and a description of your project. I use it only to reply and discuss the work. I do not sell it, pass it to anyone else, or add you to a mailing list.
Analytics
This site currently runs no analytics at all. No tracking or measurement script is loaded, no cookies are set, and no analytics data about your visit is sent anywhere. Your request still reaches the host, which keeps the server logs described below. If that changes, this page will change with it and you will be asked to consent before anything is measured.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. I do not access these logs for any other purpose.
Your data, on request
Email ikbalhussain3674@gmail.com and I will tell you exactly what I hold about you, or delete it. No forms, no process — I will just do it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions.
